SWAPNO, A social safety net project of the Local Government Division of Bangladesh; implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). The project has developed a native mobile app for beneficiary selection. Using the BSS app; the project can select it’s beneficiaries. Firstly, verifying the NIDs of candidates by connecting the APIs of the National data center and recruiting them as per the project’s eligible criteria. From the eligible candidates, the project can select potential beneficiaries through the lottery (as well as waiting). After HH verification candidates can be selected as final beneficiaries/ discard the disqualified ones. Moreover, some business-related info and GEO/ image data can be collected through the BSS app. With the help of this mobile application, the project selected its beneficiaries. Redorch Technology has successfully completed the assignment with the development of well-managed admin portal as well as a well-responsible android native app. Through this assignment, we not only developed a unique model in the industry but also contributed to the Government’s social safety net project.
